Motorola has launched the much awaited E5 Plus and it will be available for sale exclusively on Amazon India at midnight today. The Moto E5 Plus India price has also been revealed, and the phone will cost Rs. 11,999.

The smartphone boasts of a 5,000mAh battery and a big 6-inch screen, and is available in two colour options – Black and Fine Gold.

At the launch event, Moto India’s Head of Marketing, Rachna Lather, spoke about how people were consuming entertainment today, adding that the Moto E5 Plus device’s battery efficacy and large screen will enhance that experience.

In terms of specifications, the Motor E5 Plus runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor and its efficiency is aided by 3GB of RAM along with 16GB of internal storage, which is expandable through a dedicated microSD card slot.

The Lenovo-owned company’s Moto E5 Plus will be competing with the likes of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 and the selfie-centric Redmi Y2, both of which are available in India starting at around Rs.10,000.

The Moto E5 Plus is a single-SIM (Nano-SIM) phone with a 6-inch IPS display that boasts of an 18:9 aspect ratio and HD+ (720x1440 pixel) resolution. Its 5,000mAh battery, with TurboCharge support, the company says, will provide 6 hours on a 15-minute charge. The smartphone that runs Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box gets it power from a Snapdragon 430 processor with 3GB of RAM. Its body has a splash-resistant coating to protect it from splashes of water and other liquids.
