The West Bengal Police Recruitment Board is expected to release admit cards for the preliminary written examination for the recruitment of sub-inspector and lady sub-inspector (SI/LSI) today, July 16th. The admit cards will be made available on the official website of the West Bengal Police, policewb.gov.in.

The preliminary written examination for recruitment to the post of SI/LSI is scheduled for July 29th from 12:00 noon to 01:30 p.m. The West Bengal Police Recruitment Board (WBPRB), in a notification released earlier, said that it will deliver SMS alerts to the registered mobile numbers of candidates when the WB Police admit cards are released, but candidates are advised to check the official website since the Board is be responsible for non-delivery of messages.

The WB Police recruitment notification also states that the e-admit cards are mandatory for the exam and candidates need to follow all the instructions mentioned in the admit card. Mobile phones and other electronic devices are banned from the examination centres, and this includes calculators and Bluetooth devices.

How to download West Bengal Police admit cards

  1. Log on to the official website of the West Bengal Police, once the admit cards for the SI/LSI exam are released.
  2. Click on Recruitment tab on the left panel.
  3. Click on the notification for release of SI/LSI admit card.
  4. Enter your Application SI Number and Date of Birth.
  5. Your admit card will be displayed which needs to be printed out.    

Candidates can also access the updated specimen of OMR answer sheet and attendance roll from the website for reference.
