Samsung Galaxy Note 9 leaks reveal design details ahead of its launch
Series of leaks reveal several design and camera details of Samsung’s flagship phone, Galaxy Note 9, official unveiling of which is scheduled for August 9th.
Tipsters, notorious for leaking gadget details, have been working overtime ahead of the August 9th launch of Samsung’s Galaxy Note 9. Multiple leaks have poured in just last couple of days, and Samsung’s flagship phone sure seems to have captivated the popular imagination. The latest leak by Evan Blass, a serial tipster, shows design changes along with the new S Pen.
The biggest takeaway from the leaked photo is the changed position of fingerprint sensor from its predecessor Galaxy Note 8. The fingerprint sensor on Note 9 is placed right below the dual-rear camera setup. It also gets two camera sensors as well as the LED flash module. The click button-top on S Pen though gets Blue colour paint job that matches the colour option of the Galaxy Note 9.
Slashleaks, another site infamous for leaks, posted first hand images of the phone which corroborate with the latest leak. As reported earlier, the device is expected to come with 128GB of internal memory and 6GB of RAM. The S pen is also rumoured to include various enhancements, including the rumoured Bluetooth connectivity support.
In another leak earlier by SamMobile, a Samsung fan sharing site, reported that Samsung Mobile chief DJ Koh was spotted using the upcoming smartphone in public; though Koh didn’t show off the Galaxy Note 9 or divulge any of its features in any official capacity.
Several speculation over the specification are doing rounds currently but the correct specification details will be only revealed at Samsung’s ‘Unpacked event’ on August 9 in New York.
