Oppo’s next phones could likely be the Oppo F9 and F9 Pro, and the company may launch them soon, suggests a report by DealNTech, a web portal focusing on news about mobiles. The smartphones have apparently received Bluetooth certification and DealnTech has been able to get their hands on the teaser image launched by the phone company.

The teaser shows an outline of what is believed to be the Oppo F9’s rear with ‘Coming Soon’ written across it. The teaser image also has a horizontally set dual-rear camera setup and an LED flash adjacent.

The upcoming Oppo F9 is believed to be the successor to the Oppo F7, which was launched just recently, in March this year. The F7 had just one rear camera, and this is believed to be one of the main differences in the models.

Meanwhile, the Bluetooth certification shows three different model numbers: CPH 1823, CPH 1825 and CPH 1881. The device with model number CPH 1823 will reportedly be called the Oppo F9 and F9 Pro; whereas, the CPH 1825 and CPH 1881 are listed as Oppo F9, suggesting that they could be storage variants.

As per the Bluetooth certification listing, Oppo F9/ F9 Pro gets Bluetooth v4.2 connectivity – same as the Oppo F7, Oppo F7 Youth and Oppo R15. The Oppo F9 could likely be equipped with the same MediaTek Helio P60 chipset too, an earlier DealnTech report on the Oppo F9 says.

Expect innovative design elements and advanced camera features on these phones, considering the selfie-centric nature of Oppo’s F-series phones. Unfortunately, Oppo hasn’t revealed any specific details about the phone or launch dates yet.
