The Tamil Nadu board of education is expected to declare the results of 2018 12th exams or High school certificate (HSC) supplementary examinations this week, according to multiple reports. The HSC supplementary results will be declared at the board’s official website, tnresults.nic.in. The results will also be available on dge.tn.gov.in.

The supplementary exam is for students who could not clear one or two subjects of the main exam or those who want to improve marks in a few subjects. The board had conducted the 12th supplementary exam from June 25th to July 4th, whereas the 10th or SSLC supplementary exam was conducted from June 28th to July 6th, the Indian Express reports.

How to check TN 12th supplementary results

  1. Log on to the TN result website.
  2. Click on the link for the TN 12th supplementary results.
  3. Enter the registration number and date of birth and click on ‘Get Marks’.
  4. The results will be displayed and can be printed out.

The Tamil Nadu board had declared the results of the HSC exam, which was conducted in the month of March, on May 16th. The exam recorded a pass percentage of 91.11%; girls did better than boys, with 94.1% of girls clearing the exam compared with 87.7% of boys.
