The Students Academic Management System (SAMS) Odisha released a notification on Thursday, July 26th, on the second phase of counselling for DHE Odisha Plus 3 (+3) admissions. SAMS Odisha will conduct the second round of counselling for degree and autonomous colleges in the state through offline mode.

Students who were not able to participate in the first phase of the SAMS Odisha online counselling can go through the notification to see if they are eligible to participate in the second phase.

Parameswaran B, Joint Secretary to Government, in a letter to principals of all degree and autonomous colleges, directed the vacant seats to be filled as per the guidelines and highlighted the eligibility criteria.

In this second phase, students have to apply directly to colleges and there will no cut-off marks specified. However, the admission will still be on merit basis and there will be no reservation policy for this phase. Detailed eligibility criteria can be found at the following link.

The list of vacant seats for offline CAF will be available on the SAMS website, samsodisha.gov.in, on July 30th, and the last date to apply to participate in the offline admission is August 3rd. The second phase merit list will be published on August 7th at around 11 a.m. and candidates can take admission based on the merit list on August 8th and 9th.
