UPSEE 2018: Spot admission details released, registration begins from August 1st
APJAKTU has released details of the spot admissions for vacant engineering seats after three rounds of UPSEE 2018 counselling.
The details of spot admissions for vacant engineering seats in Uttar Pradesh based on UPSEE 2018 results have been released on the official UPSEE website. The process of three rounds of counselling and allotment ended on July 23rd.
Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam Technical University Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow had conducted the Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination and counselling to fill in engineering seats in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
In a notification released earlier this week, it has been decided that the colleges will be allowed spot admissions based on the UPSEE 2018 results. Registration for spot admission will begin at the official UPSEE site on August 1st and will end on August 3rd.
All those students who were not able to participate in the UPSEE counselling process for engineering admissions can register for spot admissions by paying a registration fee of Rs.1,000.
The details of vacant seats for spot admissions are expected be released soon on the official website, upsee.nic.in. The seats will still be allocated based on the UPSEE 2018 merit list under open rank and no reservation policy will apply.
Students who get spot admission during the round of offline counselling, will have to pay Rs.70,000 via a demand draft to the Finance Officer, AKTU, Lucknow. The entrance examination commission is expected to release further details regarding the spot admissions soon at the official UPSEE website.
