Andhra University declared the 2018 Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test (APSET) result today, August 19th. All candidates who have appeared for the 2018 APSET exam can visit the official website, apset.nic.in, to check the result. The university has also uploaded subject-wise and category-wise cut-off marks.

The notification for the APSET 2018 examination was released on March 18th and the registration started on March 26th and went on until May 2nd without the late fee. The university conducted the exam on July 1st and now it has declared the result. A total of 42,663 candidates appeared for the APSET 2018 examination.

Here is how to check APSET 2018 exam result:

  1. Log in to the official APSET website.    
  2. Click on ‘APSET Result’ tab on the home page and click on ‘Click here to view result’ link.     
  3. The document contains roll number of all the candidates who have qualified.    
  4. The cut-off mark can be accessed in this link.     

APSET exam is conducted for direct recruitment of Professors / Lectures for universities and degree colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh. There are 26 Universities, 146 Government Degree Colleges, 1192 aided and unaided degree colleges in bifurcated Andhra Pradesh.

APSET examination consists of two papers and the top 6% of candidates who have appeared on both the papers are declared qualified for eligibility for assistant professor and lecturer. Candidates who have scored 40% aggregate (35% for reserved category) are declared qualified for the step one stage for eligibility for Assistant Professor/Lecturer.
