LIC Housing released a recruitment notification for 300 positions today, August 21st. LIC Housing is looking to recruit 150 Assistants, 50 Associates, and 100 Assistant Managers through this recruitment process. All interested candidates can apply for the positions at the Careers page of LIC Housing website, lichousing.com. The last date to apply for the positions is September 6th.

The notification for the LIC Housing recruitment has given the state-wise distribution for the Assistant and Associate positions. The state-wise distribution for the position of Assistant Managers is not given. The exam is tentatively scheduled to be conducted on October 6th or 7th and the admit cards will be available from September 24th.

ELIGIBILITY:

Candidates interested in applying for the positions need to be between 21 and 28 years old. Minimum qualification for Assistants is graduation with minimum 55% aggregate marks; for Associates, graduation with minimum 60% aggregate marks; and for Assistant Managers, graduate plus a two-year full-time postgraduate management degree with a minimum 60% aggregate marks.

SELECTION PROCEDURE

LIC Housing will conduct two phases of selection process. The first phase will involve a separate written examination for each position for 200 marks which will have 200 objective-type questions. The written exam will test candidate’s proficiency in English Language, Logical Reasoning, General Awareness, and Numerical Ability. The duration of the exam will be for 120 minutes. There will be a negative marks of 0.25 for each wrong answer.

The second phase of the selection process will involve an interview round for candidates who have cleared the written examination. The final selection will be done based on the combined marks obtained by the candidates in the written and interview round.

  1. Log in to the LIC Housing’s official website and click on ‘Careers’.
  2. Under ‘Recruitment for Assistants, Associates, and  Assistant Managers’, click on ‘To Apply Online Click Here’ link.
  3. Click on the orange button for ‘Click here for New Registration’ if not already registered. If registered, log in with the credentials.
  4. Candidates need to upload scanned documents photograph, signature, left thumb impression and handwritten declaration as per the guidelines. 
  5. Fill in the remaining application form and submit it.
  6. Pay the necessary application fee of Rs. 500 plus GST charges through online mode.

The call letters/admit card, which will be issued on September 24th, will give details of the exam centres. Candidates can access more information on the eligibility, remuneration for each position, procedure to apply, important dates among others in the official notification.
