Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended the CTET 2020 examination application deadline to March 2nd 2020, according to several reports. The official notification was released on January 23rd and the application process started on January 24th and the initial deadline was February 24th. The application process is being conducted on the official website, ctet.nic.in.

CBSE will conduct the CTET 2020 examination on July 5th, 2020. Apart from the extension of the application deadline, now the last day to do the application fee payment is until March 5th, 2020.

CBSE conducts CTET examination to certify the eligibility for candidates to teach at schools affiliated with CBSE. The CTET exam consists of two papers in which Paper I certifies eligibility for Class I to Class VI and Paper II from Class VI to Class VIII. Candidates have an option to appear for either one of the papers or both the papers.

  1. Visit the CTET official website.
  2. Click on the button for CTET 2020 application process.
  3. Click on the new candidate registration link.
  4. Go through the registration and then the application process.
  5. Once the the application is submitted, take a print out of the submitted application for future reference.
