Prime Minister Narendra Modi never misses an opportunity to tweet his best wishes to the nation on every occasion. This Diwali, he has gone a step further. He has  launched a website that allows his fans to send customised cards to their friends and relatives bearing the prime minister's face and one of his inspirational quotes.

The site more than bears out the claim of this fans that Modi has his finger firmly on the popular pulse.  It's clear that the nation will go into paroxysms of delight upon receiving e-greetings with such declarations as "Innovation no longer remains a choice but has become an imperative."

Other festive messages include:

1)  A state in India will have more traders than perhaps a European nation. Trade is a great way to integrate people.

2)  We dream of an India that is self-sufficient in producing defence equipment using the latest technology.

3) Infrastructure should not only be about Highways but also about Information Highways! The way ahead lies in creating optical fibre networks.

4) Earlier we used to play with snakes, but now we play with mouse. Through IT, India’s youth has surprised the entire World!

5) Make in India! By this, we mean we want to give low cost manufacturing, ease of business, skilled manpower. India is a land of huge possibilities & scope.

6) FDI is a responsibility for Indians & an opportunity for the World. My definition of FDI for the people of India is ‘First Develop India’.

7) An opportunity to work is good luck for me. I put my soul into it. Each such opportunity opens the gates for the next one.

8) Youngsters inspired by Maoism have taken the gun and are spilling blood on streets, but our land needs the colour of progress not the colour of blood. Maoists must not have the gun in their hands, instead they must have agriculture tools and pens so that they can serve others. Raasta kalam, hal aur pasine ka hai, khoon ka nahi.

9) Domains like Trade, Technology, Tourism, Talent and Tradition have the power to redefine existing paradigms.

10) A democracy can't succeed without people's participation. 'MyGov' empowers the people of India to contribute towards Surajya.
