ART Kesa-Vinyas: Hairstyles in Indian Art at Red Fort
This exhibition of rare photographs and sculptures by the Archeological Survey of India, organised to mark World Heritage Week, showcases the hairdos on women in sculptures from the Harappan era through the medieval centuries. There is an entry fee of Rs 10 per head for Indians and Rs 150 per head for foreign nationals to the Red Fort.

This edition of the Indian Languages Festival, which explores the "insider/outsider" identity of the Indian writer and reader, will focus on regional languages such as Bengali, Dogri, Marathi and Tamil. The events include discussions by Tibetan poets (Inside the Exile: An Encounter with Tibet in India, Friday at 11 am); on the challenges of Indian languages (Breaking Middle Ground: Translatorspeak! on Friday at 2 pm); and conversations on censorship by Tamil thinkers, publishers and translators (The Bound Word: On Creativity and Censorship on Saturday at 2 pm).
