The Board of Control for Cricket in India has shared an update on the ticket sales information for the last three T20 Internationals of the five-match series between India and world champions Australia.

Before the start of the series, it was understood by that all five matches of the series would have free entre for spectators. While the first two games – at the DY Patil stadium in Navi Mumbai – did have free entry, the BCCI on Tuesday put forth a slight change in plan for the last three games at the Cricket Club of India.

Harmanpreet Kaur and Co have returned to action after their Asia Cup triumph in October and the series against world champions Australia is crucial` preparation building up towards next year’s ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in South Africa.

With an update from the stadium authorities, had confirmed that the first two matches at the DY Patil stadium would have free entry for spectators. Whoever wanted to watch the matches in the stadium needed to carry an identification document and pick up the free tickets from the DY Patil college.

As per an official at Mumbai Cricket Association, it was understood initially that the last three matches of the series, scheduled to be played at the Brabourne Stadium (CCI) in Mumbai, would also have free entry for spectators. could not get an official confirmation for the same at the time of publication.

The five matches are being conducted at both these venues under the aegis of the Board of Control for Cricket in India with the MCA providing logistical support if needed.
