India's golfers in Rio, Shiv Chawrasia and Anirban Lahiri carded rounds of even par and two-over par on Day 2 on Friday to finish another disappointing day on the golf course.

India's top ranked golfer Lahiri's struggles continued as he could only muster a two-over par, shooting a 73 on the par-71 course to add to his 72 on Thursday. That leaves Lahiri at tied-51st place, in a field of 60.

Chawrasia carded identical 71s to remain at even-par, tying for 31st place. Overnight leader Marcus Fraser of Australia carded a two-under par 69 to remain top at 10-under par for the tournament.

Lahiri continued to struggle on the front nine holes as he matched his score from yesterday with a 38 on the par-35 front nine. Chawrasia had managed five birdies on Day 2 but three bogeys and one double bogey on 3rd had pulled his score down.

While New Zealand's Danny Lee carded the day's best round with a six-under par 65 to finish Day 2 at 5-under par, United States' Bubba Watson made a significant move up the leaderboard with a round of 67, after shooting 73 yesterday. Watson is now eight shots off the lead, at 2-under par.
