That Harbhajan Singh and Ricky Ponting were not the best of mates during their international cricket career is no secret. They are quite pally now post Ponting's retirement, especially after the Australian joined the coaching staff of the Indian Premier League franchise Mumbai Indians, for which Singh plays.

However, their rivalry on the cricket pitch during Ponting's playing days was part of many chapters in the Australian's memoir. This is why, in a recent interview, the former Australian captain told ANI, “My arch nemesis when I was playing against India was Harbhajan Singh, I still get nightmares about him.”

This video shows why that is so:

The Turbanator has dismissed Ponting more times than any other bowler in Tests – on 10 occasions, including three ducks. One can also look at Ponting’s overall Test batting average of 51.85, which drops to 22.30 against India thanks to the off-spinner. Ponting was also Singh’s 300th Test victim. In the 25 innings that Ponting has played against India, he has managed to score just 662 runs with one century to show.
