Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger admitted on Friday that he would be open to the prospect of managing the English football team but reiterated his commitment to Arsenal, reported The Guardian.

“My priority is to do well here. If I am free one day why not, but at the moment my focus is on my job,” said the Arsenal manager, who completes 20 years in the job when his team takes on Burnley in the Premier League on Sunday.

The England football team are currently without a manager after Sam Allardyce stepped down 67 days into the job, following a newspaper sting which saw him sharing information on conducting illegal transfer activity.

The 66-year-old Wenger’s contract at Arsenal will come to an end after this season.
