Krypsha FC got their women's I-League campaign off a flying start with a massive 7-0 win at the Police Grounds in Cuttack on Friday. Grace scored four goals as the Manipur-based side led 4-0 at half-time. Five minutes into the second half, Grace completed her hat-trick and scored another. Uttar Pradesh's UPFC have now conceded 20 goals in their two preliminary games. They were trounced 0-13 by Eastern Sporting Union in their tournament opener.

It took only eight minutes for Krypsha to get off the mark, which was through Grace. Within the next 10 minutes, they got a couple more with Grace netting her second and Bindyarani getting her name on the scoresheet. Roshini scored the next goal and it was looking likely that score would enter double digits by the end of the game.

Krypsha slowed down but not before adding three more goals in the first 20 minutes on the other side of the break. Grace got a hat-trick to her name while Roshni got her second. Just two minutes later, Grace brought up her fourth before Krypsha ran down the clock in the last 25 minutes of the game.

In the first match of the day, Rising Student FC hammered Royal Wahingdoh FC 13-0 with Pyari scoring seven of those goals.
