Barcelona is known for its eye-catching and elegant football. Greats such as Johan Cruyff, Diego Maradona, Lionel Messi, and many others have worn the Catalan side’s jersey and done things with the ball, which left viewers flummoxed. With Messi, once he gets the ball, the game becomes surreal and within a span of few seconds, he does the extraordinary. Now, Barbara Latorre of their women's team has joined those exalted ranks.

The forward showcased her near perfect ball control and footballing skills to the world, when she scored a goal that would make Messi proud. Latorre cut past six Espanyol players, as she covered more than half the length of the pitch, on her way to score the thrilling goal.

She masterfully received the ball and glided past a defender and speed past three other players from the left flank. Latorre was tackled and brought down just outside the penalty box, however, that did not deter her as she got up and cut past another defender to slot it past the goalkeeper.
