Bournemouth got their break in the 55th minute as Ryan Fraser was brought down by James Milner in the box. Callum Wilson neatly converted the penalty to make it 1-2.
Emre Can though restored Liverpool’s two-goal cushion in the 64th minute. Fraser though cut down the deficit for the hosts as he scored his first Premier League goal in the 76th minute.
Centre-back Steve Cook got Bournemouth level 12 minutes from time.
Bournemouth completed the upset victory in the third-minute of injury time when Ake capitalised on Loris Karius’ blunder as he spilled a shot by Cook and scored.
Meanwhile, Everton scored a last-gasp goal of their own to draw against Manchester United at Guddison Park.
Leighton Baines converted an 89th-minute penalty to help Everton earn a 1-1 draw against Manchester United on Sunday.
The penalty was conceded by substitute Marouane Fellaini, who was making his 100th United appearance.
Fellaini was introduced in the 85th minute, but committed a clumsy foul on Idrissa Gueye in the box. Baines made most of the subsequent penalty to rescue a point for Everton.
