When it comes to Indian cricket fans, “failure” and “Virat Kohli” are two words that just don’t get along. Kohli doesn’t follow normality. He’s scored four double centuries this year and that’s already this year. He’s invincible, right?
Except till now.
Kohli was dismissed for just 12 in the first innings against Australia in the second Test at Bengaluru on Saturday. This follows a double-failure in Pune where he scored a duck and 12. More than that, the manner of his dismissal raised eyebrows. Kohli left a straight ball from off-spinner Nathan Lyon which thudded into his pad and he was given out leg-before-wicket. Then to add insult to injury, he wasted a review on it.
No joke we can make is funnier than the fact Kohli actually reviewed this #INDvAUS pic.twitter.com/ZOienVfrIh

So far in the series Kohli has been dismissed playing at one he shouldn't have and not playing at two he should have #IndvAus

There, though, was some consternation from quarters about what exactly had happened to India’s best batsman, by far.
Too early to say but seems Kohli's sensing pressure of greatness. It's the biggest pressure a performer endures. SRT endured for 2 decades.

First time in this home season Virat Kohli got out for less than 20 for third consecutive innings...

Kohli's 25 runs in 3 inns is his worst start to a Test series (min: 2 Tests) since his 1st series v WI, 2011 when he scored 4,15,0 #INDvAUS
