India’s Harinder Pal Sandhu outplayed Australia’s Rhys Dowling 11-4, 11-8, 11-5 to enter the semi-finals of the Victorian Open squash tournament, a PSA World Tour event, in Melbourne on Friday, PTI reported.

Sandhu, who defeated Dowling in the final of the South Australian Open a week ago, appeared in good touch and coasted to a straight-game win with an all-round display.

In the semifinal match on Saturday, Sandhu will meet the second seeded Piedro Schweertman of the Netherlands.

Sandhu had on Thursday beaten Qatar’s Syed Azlan Amjed 11-5, 11-7, 11-7 in the second round.
