The name’s Goswami. Jhulan Goswami.

There’s that saying: When the going gets tough, the tough gets going. And when it’s a World Cup final on the line with the opposition going great guns, it was the veteran, the highest wicket-taker in women’s One-Day Internationals who stepped up.
Goswami had taken only seven wickets in eight matches in the tournament so far. But after England were looking good for a huge score, the veteran pacer dragged India back into the match with a double-wicket burst, including the dangerous Sarah Taylor. She ultimately finished with figures of 3/23 in her 10 overs, a brilliant display, restricting England to 228/7 in their 50 overs. Stepping up when it mattered.
