The Australian cricket team survived a security scare after the second T20 International against India, when a “rock” was thrown at the team bus, leaving the visiting players shaken.
Luckily no player was injured as the nearest seat to the window pane remained unoccupied but raised a question mark on the security arrangement of the Assam Cricket Association and state police for the match, which was conducted at the new constructed stadium in Barsapara.

The stone thrown at the Aussie team bus shows us in bad light, let's all act more responsibly. A vast majority of us are capable of that.🙏

I saw so many simple, happy faces in Guwahati. Guess the idiot who threw the stone on the Aussie team bus was hiding among them. Not done.

Shocking, this can happen in India, least of all in sport-loving Assam. International cricket returned to Guw after 7 yrs, deserved better https://t.co/2frjIgOGZF

This is tragic. India should regret such horribly sick behavior. Assam Govt should act against the idiot who did this immediately. https://t.co/v1pkI4Feuo

‘Throwing stones at visitors not acceptable’
Rock thrown at Australian cricket team bus in Assam. There definitely is some1 trying to tarnish our image. Stone-pelting isn't our culture.
