MS Dhoni’s status as a legend of Indian cricket is set in stone. Every time he steps on to the field these days, the crowd work themselves into a frenzy. His position in the Indian team as a wicker-keeper batsman (especially in the shortest format) comes up for debate every now and then, but what is beyond question is his fitness. Just one look at his running between the wickets and you’d know, at 36, he’s still one of the fittest cricketers around.

But, just in case, you needed further proof for that, Dhoni decided to take on 24-year-old Hardik Pandya in a sprint during the pre-match warm-up session in Mohali, ahead of the second One Day International against Sri Lanka.

Now here’s some 12 years younger, and mentioned by Virat Kohli as having one of the best physiques in the team. But against Dhoni, did Pandya stand a chance?
