Gautham scored 33 off 11 balls in the last game. He’d played only 1 ball at the start of 20th over tonight. Rahane carried his bat through....but still the team fell short by a fair margin. Points worth pondering over. #RRvSRH #IPL

SRH WIN BY 11 RUNS! What a finish by Sunrisers as Rajasthan lose after being in cruise control at one stage. Archer digs the final ball of the match for a single. Once again, Sunrisers showing that they are masters at defending a low total, despite not having their best bowlers fit. Rashid, Kaul and Sadeep were excellent. Did Rajasthan miss a trick by sending promoting Lomror ahead of Gowtham?
RR 139/5 in 19.5 Overs
OUT! That was in the slot for Gowtham and that seals the match for Hyderabad. That was straight down to the throat of Dhawan at long-on. He slaps his thigh in delight.
RR 137/5 in 19.3 Overs
Single. Yorker directed towards off stump and Rahane can only dig that out for a solitary run. The match is slipping away from Rajasthan’s hands.
RR 136/5 in 19.2 Overs
Just a single. Slightly wide from Thampi and Gowtham can’t clear the ring. The batsmen complete a run.
RR 135/5 in 19.1 Overs
Four. Full from Thampi and Gowtham squeezes that out for a boundary to the deep mid-wicket fence. 17 needed from five now.
RR 128/5 in 18.3 Overs OUT! Kaul comes in and strikes. Lomror goes for a mighty heave and gets a big nick. Saha, behind the stumps, shows his class with a terrific diving catch to his left. Rajasthan’s hopes are slipping away...unless Gowtham puts on a show once again.
M Lomror c Saha b Kaul 11 (12)
RR 125/4 in 16 Overs
SIX! Outstanding sweep by Rahane off Rashid Khan to dispatch the ball over the ropes in the deep square-leg region. But just nine from the over as the Afghani makes a good comeback in the over. 27 needed from the last two overs.
Kane captaincy is brilliant. The way he rotated his bowlers is something very special. Hope he comes on top. Sorry jinx #RRvSRH

Think Buttler holing out off the last ball off Rashid's second over showed poor game awareness. Conversely, SRH have seized critical opportunities. Look at how Yusuf Pathan put in such a terrific dive #RRvSRH #IPL2018

RR 109/4 in 16 Overs
The run rate is creeping up to close to 11 an over as Rajasthan have just about managed to go at a run-a-ball. All the bowlers plying for Hyderabad are putting the brakes on the scoring. The boundaries are hardly to come by and is hardly an ideal time to make one’s debut – ask Mahipal Lomror
RR 96/4 in 14 Overs
OUT! That’s the end of another underwhelming knock from Buttler. The Englishman goes for a long hop and the ball goes straight to the hands of Dhawan at long on. The pressure, for the first time, is on the Royals.
J Buttler c Dhawan b Rashid Khan 10 (11)
RR 91/3 in 13 Overs
Rahane continues to go strong and sweeps Pathan to the fine-leg boundary. Buttler is off to a sedate start. Still 50-50 from here.
RR 73/3 in 10.2 Overs
OUT! What a blow for Rajasthan. Yusuf Pathan strikes after Stokes misses a half-tracker. The leg stump tumbles over and Hyderabad can’t conceal their excitement. This could be a potential game-changer.
B Stokes b Pathan 0 (3)
RR 70/2 in 9.4 Overs
OUT! Big wicket and the slower ball does the trick for Kaul. Samson pulls but can’t lift it past Hales at short mid-wicket. Could this kick off a Hyderabad comeback? The time-out has clearly worked for the away side.
S Samson c Hales b Kaul 40 (30)
Not only has Sanju Samson been prolific this season - scoring 276 runs & counting - but he has done so whilst maintaining exceptional control. Among Indian batters to face 100+ balls this IPL no one has a lower false shot percentage than Samson - not even Kohli. #IPL #RRvSRH
— Jayavasanthakumar.. (@VasanthJVK) April 29, 2018
RR 69/1 in 9 Overs
The fifty partnership between Rahane and Samson comes up with the former punching the ball down the ground off Shakib and getting a boundary. Samson has temporarily taken a backseat after blazing away. Time-out called and Hyderabad need to regroup quickly.
RR 60/1 in 8 Overs
The runs keep on coming and this time, Rahane breaks the shackles with a fine sweep shot off Rashid Khan. The Rajasthan captain has gotten into a bit of a rut. Samson continues to go strong.
RR 43/1 in 6 Overs
Samson continues to time the ball sweetly and this time, he gets on top of a Kaul delivery and pushes it to the long-on boundary. Rajasthan are cruising and Samson is in the thick of things.

Samson is on fire! He is clearly winning the Kerala battle here smashing Thampi for a couple of boundaries on either side of the wicket. The standout shot, though, was easily the pull shot over the ropes for a six. 17 from the over.
RR 13/1 in 2.2 Overs
OUT! There goes the first one as Tripathi is beaten all ends up by a length delivery by Sharma. The pacer uses the cutter to good effect. The batsman misses and has his stumps cleaned up.
R Tripathi b S Sharma 4 (5)
RR 13/0 in 2 Overs
Rahane plays another gorgeous shot through the leg side, cashing on a short ball from Rashid Khan. Nine from the over and Rajasthan are on the attack.
Seven scores lower than SRH's first innings total of 151 have been successfully defended at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium. However, only one of those matches was in the IPL. #RRvSRH #IPL pic.twitter.com/fz5b0BgDVA

RR 4/0 in 1 Over
Rajasthan are up and away with a fine flick by Rahane to the boundary ropes. Sandeep Sharma comes back well in the over and earns his side five dot balls. The pitch still looks good for batting and it is a lot cooler in Jaipur than what it was earlier.
Sandeep Sharma to open proceedings
SRH finish at 151/7 in 20 Overs
What a comeback this has been for Rajasthan, picking up wickets at regular intervals. All the hard work from Williamson and Hales has been undone by some poor application from the lower middle-order of Hyderabad.
SRH 150/7 in 19.5 Overs
OUT! Archer picks up his third. Rashid Khan goes for a flat-batted hoick and he can only get it as far as Stokes at deep mid-wicket. Hyderabad just cannot catch a break.
R Khan c Stokes b Archer 1 (3)
SRH 142/6 in 18.5 Overs
OUT! There goes another one and in the words of Pommie Mbangwa, Rajasthan are “bossing” this passage of play. Pandey goes for a wild heave and Rahane at point runs forward and doesn’t make a mistake. More wickets and Hyderabad are completely losing their way here. Yet again, Rajasthan have been outstanding in the final overs.
M Pandey c Rahane b Unadkat 17 (16)
Jofra Archer has set the @IPL on fire today... What an over 2 wickets in one and two dangermen sent back to the pavilion #VivoIPL #RRvSRH
— Prashanth Nair (@reddevil07nair) April 29, 2018
SRH 137/5 in 18 Overs
OUT! Another one bites the dust and the momentum has shifted dramatically. Pathan tries to cut a short ball and the ball races to the third man fielder’s waiting hands. Archer continues to impress.
Y Pathan c Kulkarni b Archer 2 (3)
SRH 133/4 in 17.1 Overs
OUT! That is an Archer special. What a yorker from the pacer and Shakib barely gets his bat down on time, only for the ball to clip the stumps. Rajasthan are having a good phase here, another wicket would put them on top.

OUT! Kiwi gets rid of his compatriot and that is the end of yet another fine innings. The ball kept low Williamson got a faint edge and Buttler, behind the stumps, took an excellent catch. A review was taken but the decision stayed. Williamson, unhappy, makes the long walk back.
K Williamson c Buttler b Sodhi 63 (43)

SRH 109/2 in 13.3 Overs
OUT! Much important wicket for Rajasthan and it is Gowtham who does the trick again. Hales’ runs had dried up and he tries for a long hop through the covers. He doesn’t much on the shot, the ball goes in the air and Samson takes a simple catch. Decent debut for the Englishman this season, though.
A Hales c Samson b Gowtham 45 (39)
SRH 99/1 in 12 Overs
The class of Williamson on full display. Fifty comes up for him in just 32 balls. Unadkat is taken to the cleaners by the Hyderabad skipper and it is done in the most effortless manner. He produced a whole range of shots – the paddle, scoop over cover and the pull. 21 from the over.
🏏🏴 Four Englishman playing in one IPL game at the minute, which is a record. Hales finally gets his chance to impress for the struggling @SunRisers. While Buttler, Stokes and Archer turn out for @rajasthanroyals #IPL2018 #RRvSRH

SRH 78/1 in 11 Overs
Still no sign of big shots but the singles keep on coming. Hales moves into the forties with a commanding pull shot that runs into the boundary ropes at deep mid-wicket. Rajasthan need a breakthrough desperately and the partnership has moved to 61.
SRH 63/1 in 9 Overs
Great sportsmanship from Ben Stokes, not claiming a catch at deep mid-wicket after nearly pouching a screamer. Hales and Williamson, though, are rotating the strike with minimum fuss and it is the captain who is the more aggressive of the two. Time-out called and Rajasthan need a wicket, and quickly.
Rajasthan Royals' catch success of just 68% is the lowest of all teams so far this season. Dropping Williamson, who has scored over 250 runs for SRH in the 2018 IPL, could prove costly for the home team. #IPL #RRvSRH pic.twitter.com/9f8lOBiUoF

SRH 48/1 in 7 Overs
Hyderabad are meandering along. Clearly, the emphasis is to have wickets in the final overs. Ish Sodhi is hammered to cow cover after he drops short. Williamson pounces on it in a flash. Hales, surprisingly, has dropped anchor.
Rahane dropped Dhawan at slip in their first game against SRH, and Dhawan went on to seal the game with an unbeaten fifty. Tripathi dropped Watson in the CSK game following which the latter scored a match-winning ton. And now, Tripathi has reprieved Williamson #RRvSRH #IPL2018
— Arun Venugopal (@scarletrun) April 29, 2018
Some serious heat from Jofra Archer but the highlight for me is the seam presentation on release. This guy is surely a blockbuster. #RRvSRH #IPL2018
— LS Spin Doc (@spindoctorLS) April 29, 2018
SRH 33/1 in 5 Overs Dropped! What a chance and it was straight to Tripathi’s hands at first slip. Archer cramped Williamson outside the off stump, and the skipper could only get a thick edge. That should have been taken. The New Zealand skipper is settling in and played a wonderful straight drive down the ground for a boundary.
SRH 26/1 in 4 Overs
Solid comeback from Kulkarni, who just concedes just six from the over. Williamson drove handsomely through the covers to get his first boundary. Kulkarni is getting a bit of shape.
SRH 17/1 in 2.1 Overs OUT! Dhawan chops on
Gowtham once again dragging his length back. Dhawan, trying to run the ball down to the third man region, gets a big inside edge and sees his stumps dislodged.
S Dhawan b Gowtham 6 (4)
SRH 17/0 in 2 Overs 14 from the over!
Two boundaries and Hales shakes off his rustiness, warming the bench for the last six weeks. Kulkarni offers a little bit of width and it’s cut away in style. The Englishman then drives past mid-on. Dhawan also gets on the act, flicking a full-length delivery to the mid-wicket fence. Hyderabad up and away!
SRH 3/0 in 1 over
Solid start for Rajasthan, just three singles off it. Hales tries to launch into Gowtham but fails. Dhawan was off the mark straight away.

Toss: Sunrisers win toss, elect to bat first on a wicket that promises lots of runs. Alex Hales comes into the squad for Mohammad Nabi. Royals have former India U-19 player Mahipal Lomror and New Zealand spinner Ish Sodhi making their respective debuts.
3:00 pm Good evening, ladies and gents! Very warm welcome to the live coverage of the second leg of Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad. Kane Williamson & Co kicked off this season with a crushing win against the Royals. Despite their weakness in batting, the Hyderabad team has pulled off some stunning wins, thanks to their superb bowling effort. They are on a two match winning streak and can top the table today if they beat the Royals for the second time in the league. Meanwhile, the home team will look to avenge their away loss and get to the top four position in the points table. Promises to be a great game.
