It’s here. The biggest game in football is upon us after what has been a thoroughly entertaining tournament in Russia.
It’s the 21st final in the tournament history. Only eight teams have lifted the trophy in the past, with Brazil winning five titles. Spain was the last team to win the title for the first time, when they won it in 2010.
In the current century, it’s been all Europe since Brazil started it off with the title in 2002. And that trend remains after Russia 2018 as well, with all four semi-finalists from Europe.
