Senior IAF officer removed from post after two women allege harassment
The air force is investigating the complaint against the senior group captain, who is a decorated fighter pilot.
A senior group captain of the Indian Air Force posted in the Kolkata-based Eastern Command has been removed from his post due to allegations of sexual harassment made against him by two women. An NDTV report said that IAF headquarters received complaints from at least two women, one of whom was the wife of a fellow officer.
A court of inquiry has been ordered for the matter. The Hindustan Times reported that the officer, a decorated fighter pilot, has been attached to the Kolkata-based Eastern Command till the investigation is completed.
