Nestlé India said it would re-launch its flagship instant snack Maggi noodles from Monday, in an effort to “give back to [consumers] their familiar taste” before Diwali. The company will partner with e-commerce giant SnapDeal to roll out the product, The Indian Express reported. Nestlé India also said they were in talks with the states that have still shown reluctance to allow the product back into the market.

Maggi noodles, which had been banned following reports of high lead content, passed all the court-mandated tests last week. The company said they had conducted more than 3,500 tests representing more than 200 million packs in both national as well as international accredited laboratories and that all the reports were clear.
