Bharatiya Janata Party MP Shatrughan Sinha Patna launched another attack at the party leadership on Wednesday, saying those with "vested interests" are refusing to learn lessons from the Bihar polls debacle. Sinha added that no one has the guts or the DNA to tick him off, in what was an apparent dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, reported PTI.

The parliamentarian from Patna Sahib also supported the demand made by BJP veterans, including LK Advani, for fixing accountability for the Bihar defeat, saying the "the time is for reaction, understanding, apology and satisfaction of party godfathers". He also ridiculed any move to take action against him over his criticism of the party, saying it was just “bravado of the ill-advised”.

Sinha has been critical of the BJP since its Bihar election campaign took off. Since the Grand Alliance’s win, he has met and praised Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, who led the coalition of the Janata Dal (United), the Rashtriya Janata Dal and the Congress to a massive win. He had earlier taken a swipe at the BJP's top brass, calling its loss in the Bihar Assembly elections a "victory of democracy".
