Indian captain Virat Kohli got back into form with a brilliant unbeaten 83 as the hosts took a 403-run lead against South Africa at the end of the third day of the fourth Test at Delhi. At stumps, India were 190 for four in their second innings after a 133-run stand for the fifth wicket between Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane, who followed up his first-innings century with an unbeaten 52.

Kohli scored his first half-century in the series and 12th of his career. He is now only 11 runs short of notching 3,000 runs in Test cricket. His innings was a mixture of elegance and power, reported PTI. With two days of cricket left, India may bat till lunch on Sunday before declaring and stretching their lead to over 450. South Africa face a herculean task to avoid a 3-0 rout in the four-match series.
