Indian men who were beaten up by Saudi employer to return home within a week
The three workers were reportedly duped by a placement agency that made false promises of getting them jobs.
External affairs minister Sushma Swaraj said on Thursday that the three Indian migrant workers who were beaten by their Saudi Arabian employer with a wooden plank will be back in India within a week. Swaraj added that her ministry reported the matter to the Saudi police and was in touch with the Indian workers.
The case came to light when a video of the men being beaten up by their employer went viral on WhatsApp. CNN-IBN reported that the three men were reportedly conned by a placement agency that made false promises of getting them jobs.
