Ashutosh Gowarikar considering making Indian Star Wars movie
The seventh installment of the popular Hollywood franchise has already collected nearly $700 million globally.

Filmmaker Ashutosh Gowarikar said on Thursday that he might make a science-fiction movie along the lines of Star Wars. At a screening of the seventh installment of the popular Hollywood franchise, titled Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Gowarikar told reporters, “I would love to [try out something like Star Wars]. I love science-fiction space. I like this as a genre. I might do something like this in future.”
Star Wars: The Force Awakens is scheduled to release in India on December 25. As of Wednesday, it has already collected nearly $700 million globally, reported Variety.
