Islamic State threatens attacks against the West in new video
In the eight-minute-long footage, a French-speaking militant called the US-led coalition ‘imbecile miscreants’ and warned they will make them forget the 9/11 terror attacks.
In a new video released by the Islamic State on Saturday, the terror group threatened to launch attacks that will "make the West forget" the 9/11 attacks and the Paris siege. An IS militant makes the threats in the eight-minute-long clip, in which other IS fighters also execute five supposed apostates and spies in Iraq, after they testify to having worked against the group, AFP reported.
Clad in military wear and a beige balaclava, the French-speaking man calls the United States-led coalition “imbecile miscreants” and vows that the West – Spain in particular – will “pay dearly” for ousting the Muslim rule in ancient Andalusia, a region in southern Spain. The video posted on militant websites was reportedly produced by the terror outfit’s media office in Nineveh province in Iraq. It appears to have been made after the November 13 attacks in Paris claimed by the IS, in which 130 people were killed.
