Rockets fired at new Afghanistan Parliament building in Kabul
According to initial reports, one out of the four rockets hit the target, but no casualties have been reported.
Four rockets were fired at the new Afghanistan Parliament building in Kabul on Monday. At least one of them hit the building, initial reports stated, but there are no casualties so far. According to Times Now, the Indian envoy to Afghanistan Manpreet Vohra said all Indians in Kabul were safe.
India had gifted Afghanistan the new building, which was inaugurated in December when Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the country. In June 2015, the Taliban launched a large-scale attack on the Afghan parliament. All seven attackers, including a suicide bomber, were eventually killed.
