Leicester City on Monday won the 2015-2016 Premier League title after taking an unassailable seven point lead over second-placed Tottenham Hotspur, who drew against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in London. Tottenham needed to win to stay in with a chance, but gave up a 2-0 lead at half-time to finish at 2-2.

This marks an incredible triumph for rank outsiders Leicester City, who were fighting off relegation last season. They had a chance to win the title on their own on Sunday but drew 1-1 against Manchester United. Tottenham Hotspur looked like they would extend the title race to the next week after taking a 2-0 lead at half-time through goals from talisman Harry Kane and Son Heung-min.

But an inspired Chelsea came back in the second half to break Tottenham's hearts. First Gary Cahill scored in the 58th minute and then Eden Hazard scored eight minutes before time to start the celebrations in Leicester. Tottenham Hotspur fought hard but could not get the all-important third goal, setting off celebrations in Leicester.
