Former Sweden captain Zlatan Ibrahimovic on Thursday confirmed that he is joining English giants Manchester United next season. The high-profile striker announced the decision with a post on his official Facebook page.
Formerly with French giants Paris Saint-Germain, Ibrahimovic is Sweden's all-time leading goalscorer and won the FIFA Club World Cup with Barcelona in 2009. He also received the FIFA Puskas Award in 2013 and awarded the "Golden Foot" in 2012.
There was widespread speculation that new United manager Jose Mourinho was trying to sign the gifted Swede strike before Ibrahimovic confirmed the move himself.
