Gujarat journalist stabbed to death by unknown assailants in office, police suspect personal enmity

The Gujarat Police are investigating the murder of journalist Kishore Dave, who was reportedly stabbed to death by unidentified assailants at his office on Monday night in Junagadh. The 53-year-old was the bureau chief of a Gujarati daily, Jaihind-Sanjh Samachar, published from Rajkot, Superintendent of Police Nilesh Jajadiya said, according to PTI.
A case was registered against unidentified persons at Junagadh B Division police station. Dave's body has been sent for an autopsy. "He was stabbed six to seven times with a knife. From the injury marks, it appears that personal enmity could be a reason behind the murder," Jajadiya said.
