Indian workers in Saudi Arabia should return to India by September 25, says Sushma Swaraj
The external affairs minister said those who do not come back to the country by the deadline will have to arrange their own fare and accommodation.

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Tuesday said Indian workers stranded in Saudi Arabia must return to the country by September 25. She tweeted that those who do not come back by the deadline will have to make their own arrangements, such as passage fare and accommodation.
On Sunday, Swaraj appealed to the workers who has lost their jobs to not wait for the settlement of their dues with their employers as the process would take some time. She assured the workers that the Saudi government has given its word that it will coordinate with the factory owners and ensure that the workers what is pending.
Minister of State for External Affairs VK Singh has visited the Gulf country twice since the reports about the stranded workers emerged on July 30. Since then, several workers have been brought back to the country, however, many are still in Saudi Arabia.
