Tata Power, India's integrated power supply giant, has crossed the two-million consumer base mark in the country, officials said on Thursday. The company has been supplying power at economical rates across consumer categories, and the milestone achievement is a result of that, PTI reported.
A statement issued by Tata Power announced that its client base in Mumbai rose to more than 6.64 lakh in 2015-16 and went beyond the 15-lakh mark in New Delhi. Tata Power secured 18,511 direct consumers and 42,157 changeover consumers in its Mumbai grid in 2015-16, the statement added.
Managing director and Chief Executive Officer of Tata Power Anil Sardana said, ”Our growing consumer base speaks of the relationship we share with our customers. We constantly strive to reach new heights through constant innovation and are committed to ensuring that our customers have a great experience.”
