More than 160 bodies have been found from the Mediterranean after a boat carrying migrants capsized off Egypt coast on Wednesday, reported The New York Times. Survivors said there were at least 450 people on board the fishing vessel. The boat was headed to Italy.

­The military has rescued 163 survivors, including 111 Egyptians, 26 Sudanese, 13 Eritreans, a Syrian and an Ethiopian, among others. Investigators said most of the people travelling on the boat were young Egyptian men in their late teens or mid-20s. A police spokesperson said, "That’s why this is a disaster. They are just kids who wanted to work." The local authorities have arrested four people traffickers in connection with the incident that took place off the coast of Rosetta, the Nile Delta port city east of Alexandria.
