United States presidential nominee Donald Trump on Tuesday said he would “love” to fight Joe Biden, three days after the vice president said he wished he could take Trump “behind the gym” in reference to the businessman’s remarks on groping women in a 2005 video. Trump said Biden could only act like “Mr Tough Guy” when he was “standing behind a microphone”, CNN reported.

“Some things in life you can really love doing,” Trump said in reference to Biden’s remarks, according to The Washington Post. On Saturday, Biden heavily criticised Trump’s remarks about him being able to “get away with” kissing and attempting to have sex with women without waiting for their permission. “What he said he did and does is a textbook definition of sexual assault,” Biden said while campaigning for Democratic Party nominee Hillary Clinton.

“The press always ask me, ‘Don’t I wish I were debating him? No, I wish we were in high school. I could take him behind the gym. That’s what I wish,” the vice-president added. However, he clarified his remarks on Monday, saying that he would only to take Trump “behind the gym” if the two were still in high school.

Trump has faced severe criticism from several politicians, his wife and President Barack Obama after the video surfaced. At least eleven other women have also accused the businessman of sexually harassing them. Trump has denied all the allegations, and has vowed to take legal action against the women. He had earlier said that he may not accept the outcome of the election if he loses.
