Mumbai: Three people killed, eleven injured after a house collapses in Mankhurd
At least 12 were pulled to safety and rescue operations are under way.
Three people were killed after a house collapsed in Mumbai’s Mankhurd suburb on Thursday morning. According to ANI, 12 people were rescued while at least 11 were injured.
A ground-plus-one structure collapsed in the Maharashtra Nagar area, reported theHindustan Times,. The injured were taken to Shatabdi Hospital. The house collapsed on two other houses at 5.45 am on Thursday. Rekha Wankhede (30), Shankar Wankhede (38) and Kasturba Wankhede (60) were killed in the collapse, the report said.
Two fire fighting vehicles and two ambulances were sent to the spot, reported News18. Rescue operations are under way.
