Amazon Canada must take down all products insulting Indian national flag, demands Sushma Swaraj
The external affairs minister threatened to withhold and rescind visas from Amazon employees if they failed to follow her direction immediately.

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Wednesday demanded an unconditional apology from Amazon Canada for selling doormats bearing the Indian tricolour. “This is unacceptable...They must withdraw all products insulting our national flag immediately,” she said on Twitter.
The products were brought to her attention by one Atul Bhobe, who sought action against Amazon Canada for selling the doormat bearing the Indian national flag.
Swaraj has directed the Indian High Commission in Canada to take up the matter with Amazon “at the highest level”. The minister also threatened to withhold and rescind visas from Amazon employees if all products deemed insulting to the tricolour were not taken down from the e-commerce website immediately.

If this is not done forthwith, we will not grant Indian Visa to any Amazon official. We will also rescind the Visas issued earlier.
