South Korean singer Psy’s “Gangnam Style is no longer the most-watched video on YouTube. After topping the list for five years, it has been overtaken by Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth’s “See You Again”, the original motion picture soundtrack of Furious 7 of the Fast & Furious franchise.

“See You Again” had been streamed 2,895,373,709 times, while “Gangnam Style” had 2,894,426,475 views at the time this story was published.

Gangnam Style’s popularity had forced YouTube to rewrite its code after the platform’s video-sharing platform’s play counter was unable to keep up, BBC reported. This was because it had exceeded the maximum number of views possible – 2,147,483,647.

Analysts said the new record-breaker has been streamed for a total of 21,759 years. “If one person was to listen to each of those streams consecutively, they would have to have started during the glacial peak of the last Ice Age.”
