The Uttar Pradesh Board of High School and Intermediate Education on Friday released the timetable for Class 10 and Class 12 examinations. The examinations for Class 10 and 12 will both begin on February 6, 2018, according to the timetable.

While the Class 10 exams will conclude on February 22, 2018, the Class 12 exams will be held until March 14. Uttar Pradesh Board Secretary Neena Srivastava said the Class 10 exams would be finished in record time – 14 exam days – while the Class 12 exams will conclude in 22 days, as per the directive of the Adityanath government.

Over 67 lakh students have enrolled for the exams this year, NDTV reported. Of these, Over 37 lakh are enrolled for the Class 10 examinations, and 29.8 lakh for the Class 12 exams. The Uttar Pradesh Board has decreased the number of examination centres to make monitoring the exams easier, The Times of India reported.

UP Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma had said on October 14 that CCTV cameras would be installed in examination centres, and the dates would be announced before Diwali, PTI reported.
