Under focus of late for an apparently fresh Twitter strategy with his witty and sarcastic tweets, Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi on Sunday introduced his followers to the one who possibly writes his tweets: his puppy Pidi.

Gandhi has lately made a string of witty and catchy remarks in his tweets about political parties, leaders and policies. The trend has raised curiosity and interest among political observers.

“It’s me, Pidi. I am way [cooler] than him,” Gandhi wrote in his tweet, speaking on behalf of the puppy. He said he was “coming clean” on who writes his tweets for him.

Gandhi posted a short video clip with the tweet, in which he asks Pidi to pose for “Namaste”.

Within six hours, the tweet had got over 6,200 retweets and 15,000 likes.
