The teenager – identified as 13-year-old Gulnaz – was admitted to a district hospital. “There was ceasefire violation by Pakistani troops today along the LoC in Karmara belt of Poonch,” a police officer said.
Four civilians were injured several weeks ago when Pakistan allegedly violated the ceasefire. On October 13, district authorities asked schools to remain closed after yet another exchange of fire near the border.
