A fire broke out at Moscow’s Pushkin Museum – home to artwork by Van Gogh and Picasso – on Friday. At least 30 people were evacuated, reports said.
No injuries were reported and the art collections were safe, according to The Moscow Times.
The Pushkin Gallery confirmed that the fire broke out after a technical fault in the ventilation system at the private collections building. The Russian Emergencies Ministry said that the fire has been extinguished, Sputnik International, reported.
