People marched on Sunday at the 10th annual Delhi queer pride parade carrying banners and placards, defying high levels of smog. The march began at Barakhamba Road at 2 pm and will finish at Jantar Mantar.

A press release by the event organisers read, “We march against the oppressive attacks and varied forms of discrimination visited upon hijras, kothis, transwomen, transmen, lesbian, gay, intersex and sexually nonconforming, bisexual, multisexual, pansexual, asexual people and our allies in public and private spaces.”
