New Delhi: Man arrested for molesting two women outside ITO metro station
The Patiala House Court sent him to 14-day police custody.

A 25-year-old man was arrested on Friday for allegedly molesting two women at a metro station in New Delhi on November 13. The police have claimed that the man works at a tea stall outside the ITO metro station where the incident took place, the Hindustan Times reported.
The Patiala House Court sent him to 14-day police custody, according to ANI.
He was arrested based on CCTV footage, which shows the man molesting a journalist as she was entering the station after which she ran after him. Another woman had complained that she too was molested at the metro station around the same time by a man whose description matched that of the arrested man, the police said.
“On the basis of the CCTV footage, we formed teams and searched all areas and finally arrested the culprit,” Deputy Commissioner of Police (Metro) Pankaj Singh was quoted as saying. The journalist told ANI that she could have caught him there itself had there been security personnel around.
